Core Responsibilities

Recruitment: Hiring staff, producing job descriptions, placing adverts, working with recruitment consultancies, organizing interviews, running assessment centers.
Training and Development: Designing and organizing employee training programs.
Performance Management: Coaching managers on performance management issues and processes.
Policy & Procedures: Implement new HR policies, procedures and processes; ensure all company policies and procedures are up to date and in line with current employment law.
Documentation: Composing staff handbooks, contracts, staff memos, and issuing written offers of employment, promotion etc.
Employee Relations: Managing absences, measuring employee satisfaction and identify areas that require improvement.

Candidate qualifications and requirements

• BS/BA/MBA degree from a reputable university
• 3-5 years of experience
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Strong understanding of Pakistan‘s Employment Law & processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Your areas of responsibility include:

• Develop and execute an effective recruitment plan.

• Collaborate with the management to provide strategic support in accomplishing business goals in terms of human capital.

Your areas of responsibility include:

• Required to manage relationships with the vendors. The vendors will be a mix of big corporates like Nokia / Samsung and could be as small as one shop retailers at electronic and home and lifestyle markets.
• Look out for new business opportunities for Daraz to partner with. This could be in the remit of sports or electronics.
• Remain up to date with the ever changing market scenarios for technology changes. This will directly translate into the marketing initiatives that will be driven by the vendor manager to boost sales for the category and brands.
• Think of innovative ways to market brands and vendors to ensure ample sales and that there is no dead stock in the inventory.
• Ensure timely processing of products from inbounding to production to coming online.
• Work closely with the analytics team to understand the demand cycle and procure items to meet the cycle.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High levels of accuracy, and attention to detail
• Good administration and computer skills
• Good planning, organisational, analytical and desicion-making skills.
• Experience: 2-3yrs (preferrable)
• Academic qualfications: MS/MBA
