Standard Chartered Bank ( Pakistan ) Ltd Asaan Installment ( AI ) Terms and Conditions:
Following are the Terms & Conditions applicable on EMI plan and are to be read along with the Credit Card terms and conditions:
1. Minimum purchase amount for each transaction (should include only one product) should be PKR 10,000 to book an Easy Monthly Instalment.
2. Only customers opting for EMI on Daraz’s checkout page are eligible for this promotion.
3. Easy Monthly Instalment is available at 0% mark-up, however, a processing fee of 2.5% of the order amount is charged for 06 months tenure and a processing fee of 7% is charged on 12-months tenure.
4. In case of early closure of instalment plan (before completion of tenure), pre-payment charges will be Rs 1,000 or 5% of the remaining amount whichever is higher.
5. The conversion of purchase to Easy Monthly Instalments may take up to 7 working days
6. Purchase on Daraz to be made at least 7 working days before the next credit card statement is generated to ensure the transaction reflects in that statement. For example, if your statement date is March 24, 2020, then the purchase should be made before March 17, 2020
7. If you make a purchase immediately after the statement date then the transaction will reflect in the next month’s statement.
8. The Bank providing EMI service is acting as corporate agent/distributor of third party products/services and shall not be responsible in any manner to any person or to any claim.
9. In case of order cancellations by Daraz, the instalment plan will be cancelled and no pre-payment charges will apply.
10. In case of order cancellations, it is customer’s responsibility to call SCBPL and cancel the relevant instalment plan.

FAQs

Daraz Aasan Installments (AI) is a service that allows you to purchase items through a deferred payment plan using your credit card. The full outstanding payment will be blocked on your account until the instalments have been completed. The blocked amount will also be visible on your statement.

AI does not have any mark-up, down payment or any other hidden cost attached to it. However, a processing fee of 5.5% of the order value for the 6 months tenure and 11.5% of the order value for the 12 months tenure is charged by SCB.

Please note that the full outstanding payment will be blocked on your account until the installment repayments have been completed. The blocked amount will also be visible on your statement.

Daraz AI is available on all Daraz products with a total cart value equal to or greater than Rs. 10,000.

For AI transactions to be approved your total cart value should be equal to or less than the available credit limit on your credit card. Once a purchase is completed through using AI, it will take up to 7 working days for the installment to reflect on your credit card statement.

Yes, in case of return, you can get your money will be reversed on your credit card within 12 working days. There are no charges for this reversal and it will be reflected on your subsequent statement.

Unfortunately, only full cart values can be converted into an AI plan.

Please call SCB's helpline 111-002-002 to escalate the matter. If you have been charged any financial fees due to this, they will be reversed in your subsequent statement.
