Amazing Headphones. Definitely worth it.
I use these headphones primarily with my smartphone. I have a pair of gaming headsets dedicated for that exact purpose and general PC use. Out of the box these headphones are quite small and easy to move around with. They fit quite well and can be easily adjusted. The added Bluetooth feature works flawlessly and I hardly felt any difference between audio qualities of the stock AUX cable and the Bluetooth connection.
Performance wise, these headphones do not disappoint at all. However, they are not perfect. I listen to a wide range of music genres, pretty much every genre that exists, and a huge part of my playlist is based on Rock/Metal. The vocals on this thing tend to be so good at times you can recognize effects and wonder "damn I never knew this song had this effect!" Electro/Disco/Club etc genres have a good performance with these headphones as well. However, in certain songs, the drums are one instrument that lag. It's not something that is unbearable, but at times the cymbals and the paddle seem weak. These headphones seem to have a surround sound effect to them, but at times it makes the drums lack in quality. Again, this is not something that's linear throughout every song. I've tested these headphones with various songs of the same genre. Some have this issue, others are better.
Obviously if compared then my gaming headset performs better as it doesn't have these issues. However, I have noticed that these headphones definitely have a better Bass performance. "Turn Down For What" felt really good with these. Maybe its the bit rate of the songs that causes the drums to sound off, but I haven't tested that aspect yet. If anyone wants an idea, listen to Swedish House Mafia's "Don't You Worry Child" and Sia's "Bird Set Free" with these headphones and without them, preferably a PC headset. You'll understand what I'm trying to say here.
All in all, these headphones are definitely worth the price. I would definitely recommend these to be used with a smartphone. However, try to get a s separate good quality AUX Cable for wired use. Read more Hide
